I just bought this used dryer.(I know, But I don't have the money for a new one)... Its a Maytag Performa, Model #--PYE3200PYW and Serial # 10537630WU. It dries great but the bottom on front gets very, very hot to the touch when its running. Is this normal? Thank you.

I have a Performa clothes washer by Maytag. Model PAV1000AWW; Serial #11210874SZ. Â The inner tub seems to be lose and shakes the whole machine when it runs. I dont know if anyone is interested in this, but i have a Performa 6116cd up for grabs. I know nothing about this machine, I got it from a friend and It has no screen or keyboard or mouse (it has special conenctions so you cant just plug it into any monitor or keyboard or mouse) It says its from the year 1994 on the bottom. I got a used Maytag Performa dryer pwe2300ayw and plugged it in, and it was spinning but no heat. I could see that the heating coil was fried so I replaced the coil and the thermal fuse that sits on top of the coil and started the dryer.
