Hey guys, I just bought another Corrado , and it has what seems to be a $50 Macco paint job. Its and fugly light blue which is peeling in parts, I could literally peel it away. I peeled a bit away and it looks to have a good factory paint job underneath. My question is there anything i can do to take off this top coat of paint? I'm already planning on using my pressure washer to get as much off ...

We moved into this house (which is about 50 years old) a year ago, and the top layer of paint is peeling off of a bunch of the molding around the doors. My guess is that in prepping the house for sale, they just slapped a fresh layer of paint on and didn't sand or prime to improve the adhesion. So, what do we need to do to fix it? I assume that if we just paint them again, they'll peel again....

I have a plaster covered chimney in my kitchen that the paint is peeling off of. I want to remove all plaster and repair. I would like to recover old brick with a brick laminate style tile.Does this sound like the thing to do? This message has been edited. I am new to this site and hoping for some help. Three years ago, I noticed that my thumb would repeatedly start getting thickened skin, followed by the skin peeling off, with tenderness and slight numbing. It then started on the other hand, my fore finger and now it is starting on all of my fingers. I have tried to figure out what might cause it, wondering about detergents, etc, and ...

"albrrrquerque" Aquaphor. I use it for EVERYTHING... my knees, elbows, eyebrows (they sometimes peel.. it's a strange skin condition that really can't be diagnosed)... and after I get tattooed. It is very inexpensive and can be bought at any drug store or even Walmart. It's super moisturizing and I just all-around love it. ...

Was near my stealer today........ So after showing my stealer this thread their story has changed from "we've NEVER seen this sort of thing before, must be miss-use" to "well, we've never seen it on an XC, but we have seen this on some S60's". Odd that it's never affected an XC70, as fundamentally it's the same damn interior They say they're still awaiting a response from Volvo, ...

The oxidation is from the cable flexing and it rubs the paint off. I see it a lot, from the sweat and salt air here. Wish there was more to do and stop it. I try to clean some type of lube there to seal the contact pionts, but al and salt just don't play well together.
