When I was at the Wanenmachers Gunshow in Tulsa Ok last month a gentleman had a very nice table of USGI military rifles. Among the fine offerings was a Mark1 Springfield complete with Pedersen Device. I saw the same set up there last year and it is a beautiful piece of equipment not often seen. Some publication, either one of the gun Colectors Digests or a Gun Digest had an article on these with an inventory of all the known ones. There were only about 50, including the ones that had been thru a fire. There were examples for the M1917 and the Russian Moisin also. I've never been able to find that article again.
