If Dixie Carter gave Paul Heyman 100% control of creative in TNA, how do you think it would go down? Personally, I think it would be the best thing for the wrestling business. Paul Heyman proved he's a wrestling genius several times before and especially with ECW. Heyman's problem was that he couldn't actually run a business. With Dixie backing him up and letting him finally just do what he ...

November 2, 2009: Brock Lesnar is in a bad mood today. No surprise. As a matter of fact, you can pretty much put any date in front of this blog, and the statement "Brock Lesnar is in a bad mood today" would most likely apply. Brock is what some people call "ornery." His drive, his passion for competition (and dominance over that competition) leads him to not play well with others....

Contactmusic.com has picked up on the story and controversy over Rihanna's new album, albeit in as moronic a fashion as possible. On the wrestling observer Paul Heyman revealed that in 2000 when he got that $5,000 loan from Vince the original plan was for SHANE MCMAHON to come in and run the business stuff for Paul E and allow the "brands," being ECW and WWF, to stay separate from each other. However, at the very last second Vince pulled the plug and that lead to the death of ECW. If that story isn't surprising and ...

Eh. Outside of the years (1995-1997) when he was working creatively with Raven, Paul Heyman has always struck me as extremely over-rated. Don't get me wrong. I think he's very creative, and a hell of a talent, and would be much better than TNA's current team. But I can't think of a time, outside of that 2 year run, when Heyman blew me away with his creative genius. As fondly remembered as ECW ...
