Passing Through - Topic profile

This incredible cell passed over my area during the early evening. I have never seen a storm cell expand so rapidly upward as this one. Each updraught plume was like an explosion. Very impressive.

hello everyone trying to hook up a PS3 via HDMI to an ONKYO 605, then using the component out to a projector (infocus x2). All I get is a blue screen. PS3 is hooked into HDMI 1 and on the receiver, i have HMDI Input set to HDMI 1 I can get the ONKYO's on screen display to appear on the projector. But I cant get the movie to appear. I'm thinking I may not have "...

I get the feeling we're on the verge... within 12 months, most of the regulars here will be off doing other things. Anyone else agree? So... are you a lifer? Or just filling in an empty spot?

Does the PS3 have component video out? If so, I'm sure that you've thought of this (or even done it by now) - you could just hook that up to the receiver. You'd also need to hook up the digital audio connection from the PS3 to the Onkyo. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to talk you out of getting a new projector. Just trying to get you set up to watch a movie today.

Very nice like the compo foreground works very well with the cloud.
