i wonder if i can buy GTI-specific coilovers and fit onto the Passat. I know the front brakes fit perfectly but not sure if suspension components are the same. Reason being that 2nd hand GTI coilovers are much easier to source than Passat-specific sets. does anyone know for sure? thanks!

has anyone installed a set of alloy passat wheels , 17"x 7.5"wide, et47 onto a 66 split ? i am running a wagenswest irs set up, a cb narrowed beam w/ wagens west flipped spindles (modified for bay disc brakes), and have come across a set of these wheels. ive got an 01 passat with the monsoon system in it. i have 2 rockfords and a 1200w amp i want to install along with my pioneer premiere head unit. i would like to keep the factory cd changer if possible, def wanna keep the factory amp and steering wheel controls... is it a waste of time to bother or is it all possible?

Hi I bought a two-way alarm system for my passat 1.8t 2003. When i tried to install it by myself i noticed it's not so simple to disable the original alarm. How can i disable it without removing it?
