Hi All, Nowadays most modern diesels come with some from of Particulate Filter to catch/trap those nasty unburnt hydrocarbons. The system is extremely clever as it regenerates/cleans itself out. If you want to have a read of how it actually works, what happens when you have one on your car, then take a look here: http://www.mrexclusive.co.uk/how-it-...filter-syst em/

Recently bought 2010 Jetta and now have 2300 miles on it. At approx 1900 miles glow plug light came on. Took it into dealer, they ran it on machine and said glow plug was fine but the sensor was defective, car was safe to drive, they would notify us when ordered part arrived and we could bring car in for service at that time. While driving it, the diesel particulate filter light came on. ...

Please take a look at my recent UOA and tell me if there's anything there that shows I'm getting more particulate stuff in through the K&N AF that I ran for most of the 2519 miles on this oil. Thank you. I recently took the K&N AF out and put the OEM AF back in. I guess I'm still not sure which AF I want to run. Here's a link to that UOA : http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubb...266#...

It has the particulate filter. My MB mechanic says that "they ( MB) are working on that "!! I also notice that if you catch the Turbo Charger out that it will blow out some black soot. Does the new Blue ...

Hi Guys I'm thinking of getting a GP Sporting mjet 1.9, and I have a couple of questions. Does the 1.9 mjet have a diesel particulate filter? My current 500 does, and it's a bit of a pain. What kind of economy do you get from yours? I'm not a particularly fast driver, so I'm hoping to get mid 50's. Any answers will be greatly appreciated

Chemtrails - Barium - Poisoning or mop up? http://mikephilbin.blogspot.com/2009/11/chemtrails -barium-poisoning-or-mop-up.html BARIUM it's everywhere (tests at a nearby Air Particulate station in Wytham Woods, Oxford prove it) and my suggestion for the major cause of such poisoning was the static dissipator in commercial and military jet fuel. So what's so wrong with Barium? ...
