I recently followed the advice given by Martin Lewis, the GMTV money saving tipster, on finding alternatives to FedEx when sending parcels to the USA. I wanted to send two Christmas gift packages home and when I got a quote from FedEx it was going to cost me £96 per parcel! From the GMTV website I contacted www.parcel2go.com and was quoted £48 per parcel. There was a little bit more paperwork ...

Hi All, What's the cheapest way to ship parcels via air service between China and the US? I normally use FedEx, but the rates are about $200 US for a 10 lbs package- was wondering if there was anything cheaper. Thanks in advance! Dave

Firstly, if this is not a rip off, I'll hold my hand up and apologise.... Sent a xmas box to the in-laws who are in Poland. 4.9kg. Standard delivery. An Post charged me 55 today... OH reckons it was 19 for a heavier box last year. Is this really the cost to send a box of this weight to Poland ?? Should I be looking at putting business elsewhere ?

Hi All, I have some issues with the formula in my excel sheet "Drop time parcels". I use it to indicate the time when the parcel was brought to the office on daily basis. 1. I have field indicating specific time frame: 1:30-2:00 - it is formated as general field. 2. There is column C where I put the times in - one time for each day. 3. I also have a field with formula: =COUNTIF(C9...

I hate Royal Mail The postie went through a phase of leaving parcels on our doorstep (in the rain, in plain view of the whole world, at the door we don't use so wouldn't find them for days) and after months of complaining it finalyy stopped. Then the other week OH ordered Modern Warfare 2 from Play.com and it never came. My graze box was then 2 days late and we seemed to get post every...

Quote: The DA called for a probe into ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema's handing out of food parcels in Cape Town. He apparently handed out 200 parcels on behalf of the SA Social Security Agency (Sassa) under the ANC's banner yesterday, in a "clear conflation of party and state", DA spokeswoman on social development, Patricia Kopane said in a statement....

Our town switched on its lights on Sunday. The turnout was tremendous. The most noticable thing were children carrying balloons with the words.......... - "Happy Birthday Jesus". So, the challenge is CHRISTMAS. It could be a street scene, shop window, parcels or a Christmas plate full of goodies. A dish of plum pudding mmm, tasty. The choice of pic is quite ...

Here's an idea you might like to try sometime. We have an advent calendar and I make up little parcels of treats for the kids. As I was saying elsewhere the kids are now 16, 18 and 20 but they still want me to do this so it's special to them to. (If you have a regular Advent calendar from the store there's no reason you couldn't do this and just adapt the idea.) Anyway, all of the days of ...
