The sad thing is that I'd taken my rain jacket out of the pannier and hung it up at home. The heavy stuff hit just as I crossed Arapaho at Cus

I have a '83 R80ST and hunting Pannier mounting brackets. The bike came with a rear rack attached (in black, not chrome). Can somebody tell me which brackets are interchangeable with the 80ST? I've read conflicting reports between the 80GS fitting the ST, and 100GS fitting and not fitting. The bags that I have are the Touring cases (not the Motocases.) Any help getting to the bottom of this ...

This will serve as a mini-review of the Banjo Brothers Waterproof Pannier . It was reviewed by Urban Velo here . I purchased one Banjo Brothers Waterproof Pannier almost exactly a year ago and have used it daily for commuting purposes in the wilds of Washington, D.C., where it's been through a fair share of rain, muck, and especially pothole jolts. I bought this bag because it was ...

Just another resurrection from the dead Brad came over with a pannier full of carbs and we had some homebrew and went to work on the CL350 which I think has been sitting (thankfully indoors) since the early 80's from the registration, etc. After a fluid check and a quick and dirty carb shuffle to make 4 junky carbs into 2 complete, ...

Dec 19, 2009 AsiaTimes Kazkhstan mulls China land deal By Bruce Pannier Kazakhstan has a unique problem. It's long on land and short on the people to farm it. I'm not sure if the plastic corners on the BMW bags are for show or not. One of the great things on the TT's is that if you damage them you just beat them out with a hammer. I've banged up my left side one when I clipped a fallen tree on a sandy whooped trail. I put a softball size dent in it. I went home, grabbed a hammer, and beat the dent out. Problem solved, and it looks even ...

A while back a manufacturer in Europe was selling back side panel for the space that the panniers (side bags) would be. They looked good and my fiancée likes riding without the panniers. I am looking for set new, used, abused or broke to make a carbon fiber version of those. Anthony
