I have a '83 R80ST and hunting Pannier mounting brackets. The bike came with a rear rack attached (in black, not chrome). Can somebody tell me which brackets are interchangeable with the 80ST? I'm not sure if the plastic corners on the BMW bags are for show or not. One of the great things on the TT's is that if you damage them you just beat them out with a hammer. I've banged up my left side one when I clipped a fallen tree on a sandy whooped trail. I put a softball size dent in it. I went home, grabbed a hammer, and beat the dent out. Problem solved, and it looks even ...
