my mum has crohns (diagnosed and operated 32 years ago), and was given codiene phosphate for the first few weeks and was told that if she couldnt do without in those first weeks then she would never come off it, and 32 years later she is still on it, although the dose has been slightly lowered (self prescribed)

( I had ON-Q PainBuster pump & I think it helped GREATLY. I am a big wuss. I had it in for about 4 days. When I went to the Dr they just pulled it out with no fuss. I had to wear a fanny pack with the meds inside. I paid an addtional $200.00 and it was money WELL spent ,)

Replying to: Pain Medication Dosages Of the three, acetaminophen is the most risky medication if the recommended dose is exceeded. NEVER do this. Taken as directed, it is very safe, but take too much and good-by liver! So, acetaminophen is hepatotoxic at higher doses.
