Which Pacino performance did you prefer? Al in Godfather or Godfather Part 2, its amazing the way he kept Michael so interesting and still managed to develop his character more in Part 2 and give it additional depth, so I pick GF2 overall

Absolutely NO ONE but Al Pacino and Robert De Niro could have played their respective roles in this saga. Who else has Pacino's passion, intensity and dead-pan power to play Michael? Who else has De Niro's streetwise intellect, intimidating presence and stout credibility as a gutsy businessman yet respectful family man? NO ONE. I DARE anyone to come up with an alternate that doesn't ...

I mean he has an eye for the best method actors around like De Niro and Day-Lewis, but what about Al Pacino, Tom Hanks or Christian Bale? I would definitely like to see him work with some of these, maybe also Johnny Depp.

Both Newyorkers, same generation, more or less the same age, their career exploded at the same time...It's curious that their paths never crossed, artistically. "I'm not easy to get along with...And I'm sensing you're a bit of a bitch..."

Was just wondering which big names out there is he friendly with? Obviously Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Eric Roberts, I know he loves Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, probably Harvey Keitel. In that infamous 1994 interview where he rips Warren Beatty, Alec Baldwin, Daniel Day-Lewis and Kevin Costner, well I guess they aren't going to make a buddy film anytime soon. He said that he didn't like ...

I was watching this interview from around the period, and she has a kind of beauty which evokes young Brando and Pacino. It would have been perfect casting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXe8GrpwAxs "Why are you such a bastard, Johnneh?"

Read this about him: In my forty-something years I have met many alpha males. But the most memorable encounter was with Hollywood great Al Pacino. He had a commanding presence and meeting him could weaken the knees and numb the brain. Dont ask me why, because I really cant put my finger on it. He's not exceptionally good looking; but maybe millions of electronically charged particles float ...

Vicky (there used to be a number at the end of her username) is a massive Pacino fan and posted here regularly for a long time. Occasionally there'd be a couple of weeks between posts, but she hasn't posted here for months now. Her absence from the board co-incided with terrible, fatal floods in her part of the world (I'm NOT disclosing her location), so I was concerned when she ...

I have nothing against Mann or anything I believe he has potential. It just seems he's confused with his writing style being stuck between art noir and gangster. I thought this movie was just ridiculous. I thought Al Pacino running in that action sequence was totally unbelievable. He looked like an old man with a gun. And the film has such lines like "I'm just a needle starting at zero working my...
