Sorry guys I didn't do a complete write up. However about 250 miles ago I installed a set of the powerflex thrust and control arm bushings. I made this post to encourage anyone considering them. They are making no noise at all and the steering feel and overall driving of the car has been improved greatly. I decided to do this upgrade when I could not get rid of a 50mph shimmy and ...

Hey guys, Im looking at getting some powerflex bushes for my car, but the front lower wishbone rear bush comes as eccentric or not. What am i recommended? Depending which ones i get, how will this effect the alignment's of the car? The car will be fully aligned after, but that will be to the "stock" settings, and with the tiny changes the bushes would make,...

Way Motor Works has been selling the Poweflex control arm bushings for the MINI for a few years now. Over the years we have installed a ton of these. We were also offering them prepressed into brackets way before any of the other vendors copied our idea. Recently the Powerflex factory had a fire and that has slowed down and even stopped production. But good news is that WMW still has ...

Since the fire at Powerflex, I've been unable to get a full set (front & rear) for my 75 TS. I can get fronts, but the rear of the car is in bits and I want them sooner rather than later. Any suggestions or other manufacturers?

I recently bought the IE trans bushing and installed it for maybe a month or so. I didn't like the vibration in my car, so I took it off. I'm debating putting it back on and giving it another try, but first I wanted to see if anyone wanted to swap it for a Powerflex bushing? I've heard the powerflex is a little more compliant than the IE bushing, so if anyone with a powerflex was looking for ...

These have 15 months on them (20,000 miles max), and are toast. What would be the cause? Autocross? No other suspension problems. Replaced with BAV Auto Urethan Bushings. Much improved.

I am upgrading the two side mounts to add to the front motor mount with powerflex mount inserts. Since the trans is going to be out I could upgrade the rear mount but I am debating it. Since adding the rear causes even more vibration I can't decide if that is worth the gain from the mount. Anyone have any opinions?

Ok Following various advice on the forum i've decided to replace my rear ARB with a Golf V6 4 Motion one (16mm) with Powerflex bushes for the time being until i upgrade it. I have access to a 4 poster ramp and have had a look under the rear. Looks a fairy straight forward job to replace. Drop the exhaust and the heat sheild.
