It freaked dh out. I was in a really long, mandatory meeting. J's been sick the past couple days so dh took him to the ped today. The ped said that he has the symptoms of the swine flu. BUT, since his temp keeps going up and down, that he doesnt think J has the swine flu, just the symptoms. He gave dh the choice of tamiflu or chicken noodle soup. The ped doesnt care for ...

Today I saw my duaghter's ped for a 2 month check up. She asked if I was breast or bottle feeding. I told her breast. She suggested that I bottle feed at least once every couple days to teach my daughter to feed from the bottle so she will be more willing later. I got a little offended at this suggestion. I have been pumping/feeding from a bottle about 1 day a week (so I can run errands) and...

I'm new to machine embroidery and recently purchased the PED Basic from ebay for my Baby Lock Ellure. Afterwards realized it didn't include the blank memory card. I'm "skittish" about buying a blank card for fear I won't buy the right thing. First question: Do I want a 1mb (which normally comes with the kit) or one with more memory? 2) What is the difference between the card that comes with ...
He had a fever of 103, so we went down to urgent care to get tamiflu because the ped said she wouldn't rx over the phone. Poor thing slept most of the time in the waiting room. By the time we were seen, he was back to 103, so they put ice packs on him. Anyway, dh is picking up the tamiflu. Hopefully, it will work as well for him as it did for my other son. Thanks for ...

Poop...or lack of in my 2 1/2 y.o. HELPME Hi. I called the ped before you wonder. My little one had the flu lat week. So her insides were a wreck from that - she vomitted about 5X, took Tamiflu and Amoxicillin, etc. Also had to have Tylenol suppository for fever. So, she didn't poop for 4 days. Gave her a supp. It ...

Can you tell me if the meal routine I've been doing with my son is ok? I realize at this age, self feeding is more for the learning then anything, and I've asked his ped who said really whatever they will eat at this point, but I want to make sure that what I am giving him is nutritious and not just empty calories. He breastfeeds on demand (won't take breastmilk from a sippy cup or ...
