I have been doing research into the main differences between these two programming languages. I am finding it hard to find all the differences between the two, I know that Lisp is primarily used for AI programmers as it allows flexibility but it is a hard to learn language. I also know that Pascal was designed for new-programmers to allow ease in learning because of its ...

I surmise that many people believe in God because they think it is a safe bet. After all, as Pascal's Wager goes, if one is wrong about God's existence, one has nothing to lose when one dies. However, according to this same wager if one doesn't believe in God, and he in fact does exist than one has everything to lose. However, this scenario is predicated on the notion that God doesn't care about ...

\If, for example, you are a Christian, who believes in the Christian God, isn't there a probability that you are wrong, and that the true God is the God of Islam, which is not triune? Wouldn't Muslims be taking the opposite risk if they deny that Jesus is God? So aren't theists, of any particular religion, risking a lot, and wouldn't all of them be risking damnation as much as any atheist would ...

Dark ruby. Expressive aromas of ripe plums, blueberries and a hint of coffee. Real intensity on the palate with fruit flavors coating the mouth. Long finish. Here is a Volnay that is big and muscular with oak treatment that, while not excessive, is more than I prefer. This has evolved since I drank a bottle two years ago, and won't hit its stride for another two or three years.

First, let me say that I'm an atheist (but I used to be a Christian). My feeling is that Pascal's Wager is hypocritical. How can somebody "choose" to believe in God "just in case"? Either one does or one doesn't. I'm not going to take the "safe path" and decide that God exists when in my heart I really don't think he does. And in that tiny remote possibility there is a God, how can the ...

I think because Pascal is such an authoritative sounding name. It wouldn't be as popular had it been called "Poindexter's Wager". Someday there'll be a cure for pain. That's the day I throw my drugs away.
