I've heard that getting a pap smear done to late in a pregnancy can be harmful. I don't know how that's just what I've heard. It makes me kind of nervous because I know most doctors like to do one. I'm only 20 and have only been with my husband so I have never gotten one (I know I definitly need too) but I'd feel more comfortable waiting until after I have my child. Anyone else opt out of...

I received a letter from my doctor that says my Pap Smear results are within normal limits but also says that it showed that i have an infection, could that be serious? What kind of infections could it be? Could the fact that i was on my period until a couple days before my pap make a difference?

Was not sure where to put this question but I want to know if you still get Pap Smears after you get IC ? I have not had one for over 2 years and wondering if getting a Pap smear done would kick up IC symptoms? I have had 5 Children,a hysterectomy and never had a suspicious Pap smear. Anyone ever had a LEEP procedure done? I had one in 2005 and everything was going great until I miscarried and then had an abnormal pap. I'm freaking out now, thinking that I'm going to have to have another LEEP procedure. My first one did not go well, I got an infection and felt crappy for weeks. I am just devastated thinking that I am going to have to go through this whole mess again....

Ok, Back in March I tested abnormal for my pap Pap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer smear and I was told to come back in 6 months to redo the test and not to worry, I went back 6 months later and its still abnormal! Also I was told to come back in another 6 months... should I be worried even tho their telling me not to be?

My doctor does not tell much. I am 50 and twice I have had a pap smear and in 6 to 9 months he has asked me to come back in. This is after saying all is normal. What could be the reason for this? As we all know, the govenor of a port will be able to adjust tax rates. I suggest that all taxes from produced goods go into a port bank that the govenor can use to improve the defenses etc so that way the average govenor who doesnt have millions of dbs can run his town. /discuss
