I have Birds and I need to buy new pots and pans. They can not be nonstick Teflon type of pans because they are dangerous to birds (gas fumes). Not taking a chance I wanted to get a new set and want your guys opinions. I need a new set anyways. They can be sold here on QVC or elsewhere. I also heard aluminum might not be so good for you either. Any suggestions. Cast iron? Steel clad? What's ...

I have some good used Valve Covers, Oil Pans, Drag Link, Trac Bar and a Fan Shroud to put into someone's hands that need them. I need suggestions and opinions on buying pots and pans. I want non stick and easy clean up. I have looked at Paula Deen's and Rachel Ray's set. I am looking for something in that price range. There are so many out there with different finishes and all promise to be the best. Can you all help me?

I have to make two Oreo cheese cakes for Thanksgiving. I have three springform pans, but only one 9 inch , which the recipe calls for. Anyone have experience with time adjustment based on pan size? I know the smaller the form the thicker the cake, and I also know I shouldn't open and close the oven to check. How much longer would you bake a cake in a smaller diameter pan?

I remember some talk about a non stick spray a few weeks ago. I went to PetSmart and they had never heard of it. Can someone steer me in the right direction? Thanks, Cathy
