This is a beautiful JG date code, Tyson's Corner P226. Serial number is U137 XXX, that puts it in the 1986 range. It is triple proof-marked and the serial numbers on the slide, barrel and frame match. I am Sig Certified as an Armorer. I completely detail stripped the slide and frame. It is clean, lubed and every spring has been replaced. It is a great shooter as you would expect from a Classic ...

S&W 41 vs Sig P226 classic 22LR I have a S&W model 41 and a Sig P226 9MM. I'm considering selling the S&W 41 and purchasing the Sig P226 classic 22LR primarily because it's on the same frame as the 9MM. The only difference is the 9MM is a bit heavier than the 22LR which maks sense. Being able to go from the 22LR to the 9MM on the...

The title says it all. I have the Glock. I like it, don't 'love' it, might have the chance to trade for a SIG p226. The SIG is German-born and has adjustable sights (but it is not the X5). Thoughts and opinions?

Hi guys, I just got my P226 navy after all of the suggests from an earlier poll that I had. But was wondering about 2 things: 1. Does anyone know if sig(mec-gar) ever made 10 round phosphate mags? I look everywhere but I only found info on 15 round ones. 2. My last question is about the top side of the barrel near the end where a round would chambered. Does the slide normally rub/scratch the...

I liked the look of modiecast's P226. My frame is in great shape. So I left that as is. Here's a picture of modiecast's 226 from the gallery. I modeled a KH P226 I have after modcast's. I had some pitting and holster wear on the slide so I figured I may as well do it up. I had the slide, slide release, decocking lever, take down lever, trigger, hammer, grips screws, mag catch and back plate done...

Located in Pasadena, CA. I am looking for a like new set of P228 and P226 factory grips. I know I can get these for $15 - 20 on Midway or Ebay, but I figured I would try to see if I can get a set for cheaper/no one wants. Aftermarket grips for a P228 welcome, primarily wood. Thanks.

Hello Everyone, I have a 3rd Generation GLOCK 17 with 3 magazines. I've only fired 300 flawless rounds of Blazer Brass ammunition through this pistol. It is very clean and still looks new. I'd like to trade for a Remington 870 Police Magnum. I also have a NIB HK USP Compact in .40 S&W that I'd like to trade for a NIB German SIG P226 or P228. I will include 2 boxes of PMC Bronze ...
