I bought a new P225 11 years ago and it is in excellent condition (less than 500 rounds were fired out of it and it has been very well maintained). I have the original case, lock, three clips and all of the paperwork. I will be selling it to a local gun store but dont want to get ripped off. What is a reasonable price? They actually have a new one on sale for $949... Thanks!

Up for sale a great condition, P225, manufactured 3-10-2004, I believe total number on this build was 290, but don't hold me to that. Comes in blue Sig plastic box with like new - 2 Sig mags that came with pistol when shipped from Sig,instruction manual, with additional Novak rear sight. I bought off original owner and is very close to new condition. Pics upon request, or will try to post ...

I'd really like a set of Hogue wraparound grips for my P6/P225. I checked Hogue's website and all they seem to have for the P225 is the aluminum/G10 grips. Has any modified, say, P220 or P229 wraparound grips to fit?

Well, I'm looking to pick up my first sig in 9mm. I will use it for concealed carry, so the P225 has the nod... as does the P6. I'd like to pick up a newer production 225 I keep seeing. But, I found some unfired P228s with the original no rail design. It's not a duty gun and I have a rail on my m9a1 (used it as a duty gun), so it's not required. I found an unfired original P228 in case for $...

I just received a new P225 from Top Gun Supply. The pistol is fantastic, I like it so much I ordered another from them today. My question is regarding the night sights it came with. On top of the sights are white dots, 1 on the front and 2 on the rear, (one per side). What is the purpose of the white dots on the very top of the sights? Never seen it before. Anyway, these pistols are awesome. ...

i finally went out and did it, got my first Sig after years of wanting one. a Swiss made P225 with the Euro style mag catch (price was right) so far without having shot it, the SA trigger pull is the best factory setup i have used. DA is quite nice also. i plan to have a short trigger installed, fresh springs and combat sights installed. when i get back to WA state this will be my carry gun. BTW...

I was wondering if anyone had one of the newer imported Sig P225 they have used and want to trade for it. I have up for trade a really really clean HK P2000sk in 40 S&W. AH date code (2007) 2 9 round mags 2 backstraps V3 W/factory box, shell casing, Hk cable lock, manual, and the key lock. less than 300 rounds through it. I can send pics. Even if I have to pitch in a little for a new P225 let me...

For sale is four NEXEN N5000, P225/55R16. They have more than 6/32 tread on all four, and are evenly worn. They have some very minor rub on the from the previous owner, but will not affect the integrity of the tire. I had them on my GLI for about a week, and got sick of them rubbing on large bumps. They are too tall for my 16" winter rims (hence I am selling them). They are mounted right ...

Still looking to pickup a backup gun and want it to be a classic Sig. I'd like the 239 in .357, but financial realities being what they are this time of year means something cheaper. I used to have a P230 stainless, but would rather have at least a 9mm - nothing wrong with the CorBon 90 gr. .380, but would like to have something I could stuff some Federal BPLE into. Which leads me to the P225,...

If you still think you need the short trigger after shooting it, CC is a very good option. I do ...

I am interested in a Sig for CCW. I intend to use it primarily IWB and will likely buy 9mm (although my P226 Elite is 40 and maybe having two Sig 40's makes some sense too) But without getting into the cartridge arguments, I am most curious about these pistol sizes/dimensions and how they relate to comfortable carry, concealment and shootability. For example, I like the idea of the single ...

I had a 239-9 and a 229-9. They both felt and carried the same to me. I sold the 239 and carry the 229. I switch to a Khar K9 when the situation warrants.

Winter tire question Does anyone know if a set of P215/55R/17s (or possibly P225/55R/17s) would fit my vehicle for the winter. (2009, Premium). I'm most concerned about the wheels themselves clearing the brake assembly. Is there a wheel hub diameter I should be looking to clear here. Anyone running those 17s mind telling me which ...

No guessing here either, trying to update some facts here and there seems to be some discrepancy on whether or not the car has a P215/60R16 or P205/60R15? I already know the ACR tire size is P225/45 16", but supposedly the full size spare is a different size? Wikipedia isn't helping because that is what needs to be fixed. So if someone can take a quick look at their actual spare ...

I've got my Sig, Glock and S&W wants pretty well covered. Seems like it is time for something different. I was thinking about getting a P6 or new P225 but then the Beretta M9A1 caught my eye. Seems like the military has been using the M9 forever. Anyone know if they are ever available surplus? Anyone have a M9A1? How do you like it? Thanks everyone!

GO... two two eight. I had both... Sold the 228 for an HKP7M8.... The 228 gives you more options in capacity. 225/p6 can be had easier later. Size and feel are very similar.
