I desperately need recs for a foundation that does not oxidize within hlf hr of application ..ROP Ive not tried many foundations out there but I really dont want to experiment with my already sensitive oily skin either. Ive already tried Mac's Studio Fix compact n fluid...Guerlain Parure extreme....MUFE mat velvet and HD. So far I think Mat velvet held up the best....took longer to oxidize. ...

Over the weekend I decided to give Revlon Custom Creations a whirl. I do not like it thus far. It does NOT offer the same full coverage as colorstay does, I can clearly see some of my red marks coming through on the cheek that is the worst. Also, it's almost as though it enhances the uneven texture of my skin instead of correcting it. But the worst is that it oxidizes so quickly into an ...

Yesterday i attended my first ever tasting given by a certified viticulturist. He explained the history of port, showed a movie and said some remarkable things which i want to verify here. Old port-wine should NEVER be decanted according to him, the air would oxidize the wine too much. Also, a vintage should be drunk within 6 hours. Then he said that a 10, 20, 30 and even 40 years old tawny ...

I got a very good answer here: http://www.chemistryquestion.com/English/Questions /HighSchoolChemistry/1_H2SO4.html It says that water reacts with sulfuric acid, and the resulting product is already weak to oxidize other compounds....

I wonder if it is just mine, or are the Nikon D90 body and lenses connectors NOT made of gold? My radio equipment and computers that use pin, tab or slide-type connectors use gold, since it does not oxidize like other metals. Perhaps the lesser expensive metal being used is the cause of our connector issues.

Hello everyone, 1. As you increase alkalinity of the solution open chain form of monosaccharides increase. I like to know the chemical reason behind this. 2. Aldehydes oxidize things more than Ketones. I know that this is due to the hyrdogen atom but how does that make aldehydes more reactive. Isn't oxygen in ketone a strong oxidizing agent? 3. What ...

I lucked into that exact dish last year. It's a beauty. But there is a caution. The aluminum struts and nuts tend to oxidize together, meaning that if you take off the original scalar plate, shearing off (breaking) the strut is a very real possiblity. I saw what people went through on that and determined to leave the scalar in place and to drill out the hole as it sat. I measured the ...

I have no clue where or how the keg was purchased. It's not exactly a friend, "a guy I know"...just an acquaintance. I didn't think at all that I would be stealing a keg. I didn't get any details other than "so and so wants to sell a keg he didn't use for $50." I want a 15 gal brewpot and have an xmas party coming up so I thought it a deal. If that's being a thief I guess I won't go get it, ...

Hi Alex, Oil pastels are all right used over oil paint, but the problem is they do not oxidize as oil paint does. It is not a good idea to use them under oil paint. (And I would expect you'd have an awful hard time getting oil paint to stick to them even if longevity weren't a concern.) Oil *sticks* are different, though, they use an oxidizing oil just like regular ...
