Someone told me that I can use oxiclean on my diapers to get out stains (as long as I rinse really well) Is that true? Would it work on stains that have already been through the dryer? And what wash routine would I do with the OxiClean and how much of it would I use? TIA.

This is nit picky but I must ask. When cleaning bottles and glass equipment is it necessary to get some granules of OXICLEAN/PBW (your choice) into the inside of the bottle for most effective cleaning? OR... Does one simply need to make a cleaner solution and submerge the bottles into the solution for a period of time? Once again... 1)make sure some of the granules of cleaner get into...

I am new to cloth diapering and am trying to find a detergent that is easy to find (since DH is not willing to hunt stuff down if I need him to pick some up). I found OxiClean Baby at our local Target and was wondering what people's experience with it has been. We are going to be using the BumGenius one-size diapers.

I bought a spare keg a couple months ago and was prepping it to use it. So I put some Oxiclean in it. And forgot about it. This week I opened it up and poured out the water in it, only to find a rough surface inside. Apparently the Oxiclean started forming crystal stalactites, and they wouldn't dissolve in clean water. I was worried that I had ruined the keg, but after doing some ...

I just can't make myself do it but I have tried everything else and my organic cotton aios still stink when peed on!! I mean everything - bac out, rlr, vinegar, baking soda, oxiclean, and more. I see so many people use 1/4c of bleach every now and then and it seems to solve their problems. But I wanted to make sure everything I put against my baby is as pure as possible so it's all unbleached ...

Are you aware that one of the most successful DRTV companies is going to be taking over WNBDs marketing?... From what i understand, they dont work with just ANY product. Their clients are big names Do you know what Oxiclean did via DRTV? Everybody cleans and the do it often...respost... Orange Glo sales jumped from $1.2 million in 1996 to $129.6 million in 2000, placing the company fourth on Inc...

Thought I'd post this in a different thread for topic sake. What's the best way to clean the exterior of glass fermenters for clear viewing? I was about to put them in the tub with oxiclean but figured that was expensive.

So I just submerged 120 bottles in oxiclean in my tub in VERY hot water. As I had expected they started to float so I had to hold them down with my hands...ouch. Thats what I get for doing all my bottles at one time. Do the bottles have to be upright or will the oxiclean do its job as long as the entire bottle is filled with the solution?

Revvy... you are awesome. Thanks. That is the Jet Washer that I have been using; it is fantastic. Just still wondering if the Jet washer and sanitizing is enough for bottles that have been sitting and collecting dust (since they were not turned upside down). OR If I should clean them again when I am ready to use them.
