Well i'm pretty sure i have an oversupply of breastmilk. I had this with Ashleigh too. My body just gets overly excited to feed my babies LOL! Catie has been pretty cranky lately and has had green poop too. So i went and found symptoms of oversuppy and i have quite a few of them. I'm blessed with an over active let down too. No wonder Catie gulps, gasps, or chokes so much. They said my milk ...

Hi mamas: My LO will be 4 weeks tomorrow. For a few days, she's been having green stools that I am pretty sure are caused by oversupply (we have all the classic issues/indicators), so I'm going to try block feeding and see if that helps. My question, though, is this... I have a chronic illness and need to build up a stash so that my husband or someone else can give her a bottle for a ...

I stopped block feeding a few weeks ago, and now she takes one side per feeding. yesterday I had oatmeal for breakfast, and since then DD is drowning in milk. I am leaking, she is spitting ...

Because an oversupply of computer chips has sent prices plunging, the manufacturer has announced that it will cut production by closing its factories for two days a month. (A) Because an oversupply of computer chips has sent prices plunging, (B) Because of plunging prices for computer chips, which is due to an oversupply, (C) Because computer chip prices have been sent plunging, ...

My baby is 7.5 weeks. I have struggled with oversupply the entire time. Well, I did have one week or so that was good. However, after a growth spurt it has become a problem again. The main problem is that he swallows so much air that I can't burp him. The air gets into his intestines and then he is so uncomfortable that it wakes him up. He was up every two hours last night and only napped 3 ...

I have complained about my oversupply and letdown before. It never really got better, but I suppose it is somewhat of a good thing now that I have gone back to work fulltime and have to pump. Anyways, when my little guy nurses during the day, he does well. Maybe happily spits up a bit when he overeats on the breast, but that's OK. He eats his night meal at 8. (he only eats one breast at...

Engorgement/oversupply Ok my daughter is 8 weeks and she is my first baby. I was at a breast feeding support group and the leader helped me realize I was engorged...I just thought that's what my boobs were supposed to feel like when breastfeeding! I was nursing about every 3 hours in teh day and she would sleep all night but I would pump ...

This is for a friend, not me. She has a 5 week old and has been put through the ringer. Mastitis, thrush, swollen breasts, nipple shields, and everything else. And nothing is helping. I am pretty sure she has an oversupply problem with overactive letdown. All signs point to that. Now my question is, can you have these problems and still not get much out when pumping? Even using the pump ...

I think I have serious oversupply issues. This is all kind of convoluted and all over the place so I hope it makes sense. I'm 6 days PP. Averie has jaundice and at the doctor's instruction, we feed her for 15 minutes on each side every 3 hours. She doesn't ever actively suck for the whole 15 minutes but the doctor said we should keep her there that long even if the nip is just sitting in her...

Does anyone agree that given the present oversupply situation and the IEA forecasting no end to this before 2015 (probably exacerbated by the commercial viability of shale gas) BG shares are no longer looking too attractive and are likely to continue underperforming the market?

i exclusively breastfeed my 7 week old. i also feed on demand. we've been having a problem with forceful letdowns and possibly oversupply, but i can't really tell which one is the problem. up until today my LO has had a lot of nonsmelling gas, foamy poop that is the normal mustard color. she's been sick with a cold so she's had a lot of snot and this morning after giving her some saline spray...

Ok so hopefully someone could make me feel better. My son was 60% in the beginning but now at 1 yr he is only 15%. Is this typical for breastfed babies?? I did have oversupply in the beginning so could that by why he was bigger?? He still doesnt STTN and nurses 1-2 times during the night. I just feel discouraged that he went down of the growth chart:(

do you know if, when you are exclusively breastfeeding, your chances of becoming pregnant increase when your baby doesn't empty your breast completely? i have an oversupply and my baby never empties me out completely. he also used to sleep for 6 or 7 hours straight at night (now he's back to waking more frequently unfortunately, teething!). i have only had sex 3 times since having the baby, ...

P.S. The co-sleeping is really hard with his reflux because he has to stay upright. I did put him in bed with me this morning - he was having these "episodes" of I don't know what for a couple of hours. It would wake him up. Anyway, he sleeps beautifully in the co-sleeper, until the late night feed...

I had that with DD. After the milk let down, I catched the part that shot out in a bottle and then fed her when it had slowed to a trickle. After a few weeks it regulated so that didn't happen anymore, and I collected quite a bit of milk to store. I hope you can find a solution that works for you.

Big, big hugs to you! I remember how hard it was going back to work and pumping, worrying about supply. You might add massage and compression of your breasts as you pump to get every last bit of milk out. I also had good success with pictures of my baby - I had them all over my office!! Good luck!
