My car is export model, and i heard this thing is only with the ...

One of my 2002 496HO's went into guardian mode last weekend at WOT. Alarm shut off after 30 seconds of idling. Scanned pcm, was in guardian for 129 seconds. The current codes that show up are for overspeed and guardian. In the overspeed data list it shows 4126 rpms and 39% tps. Rev limit is 5150. The data for the guardian code shows 4792 rpm's and 99.87 tps. Both codes at the same hours....

Yes all power saving, cstates, eist and junk is disabled. overspeed protection is disabled. Multipler drops from 21 to 20 @ load using wprime or itb. goes from 4000mhz to 3800mhz. I think it might have something to do with thermal throttling but my temps are fine (low 60's at load with 1.3v core) Is there a way to lock the multi at 21?

I am lowered on swift swings on stock shocks. So, I get this metal popping sound that comes from the rear when I go up a driveway/parking lot on an angle. This noise does not happen when I go overspeed bumps or if i go straight onto the driveway/parking lot. I notice it most when I angle to the right to go up on a driveway. Any thoughts what and where I should look at?

Quoting Prebennorholm ( Reply 57 ): No two identical airplanes are exactly equal when it comes to elasticity of all components, there will be slight manufacturing imperfections on all components. Quoting Tdscanuck ( Reply 58 ): Thanks both. But are we talking about fixed surfaces (tail fin, wings, horizontal stabilizer for example) or control surfaces that ...

My personal experience was I added just about every hardware mod you could add to the car and it would improve for a time and then "learn down" to 260 ft lps of torque. This was before we knew that there was a learn down built into the software code. Putting it simply, there are two prime directives that the ECM manages to that affect us the most. First is "you shall never cause overspeed ...

Quoting KELPkid ( Reply 18 ): So what gives during the second climb segment? Are you having to cool the engines after the first seg? Or are they just gutless at that altitude? It's the wing. It's the perfect wing for going high and fast. The trade off is climb performance. Quoting Wingscrubber ( Reply 20 ): As for being a pig at low altitude, I disagree with that...
