i have updated my BIOS from 15 to 17 and ever since that my system will not beable to overclock as well anymore, before i updated it the FSB can go somewhere around 1985 stable and 1995 bootable to os, but now the only bootable is 1940 and it will not boot after that... why is that? everything is all the same voltage, ram, same cpu and all and i did a little ...

I can overclock my cpu to 2.70ghz (1199) fsb without changing any voltages after that i gotta tweak the fsb and cpu voltages abit to get any higher. so after i tweak the voltages and set the fsb to 1333 for 3.0ghz which it was actually clocked at when i got it, it boots and seems to run ok but my sound crackles and the volume drops and slowly comes back up, i got a creative xi-fi titanium ...

Anyone know some techniques or something that could help me see what the cause of a failed overclock is? Like, if it's the CPU or mobo, or ram for example. I wanna know what exactly is causing my cpu to not reach 4.0Ghz. So I have to figure out what's doing it. This will be a self updating database of i7 overclock results. Doing it manually is too arduous so this will make it much easier for me and everyone else. This will keep them all together instead of threads trailing off and no longer being updated by the OP. Please post a screen shot of the settings/OC you upload in this thread - you must show a screen of at least a 2 hours Prime 95 or Linx...

I am curious is a HD4870 basically the same as a HD4890 ? I see that most 4890's run at 850mhz vs the 750mhz that a 4870 runs at. I have been able to overclock my 4870 to these stats so is it basically a 4890?? The best overcolck I have gotten is 850/1050.

Hello forum... As a ASUS 1101HA customer, i learned that the drivers for GMA500 is better in Mandriva, than in Windows. Hey... They cant even play 3D games in Window. Not even see a HQ youtube video in fulls screen. That works with Mandriva. Wlan, eth0 and everything else works to So I believe that Mandriva can become the 1101HA OS very soon...
