I want my messenger program to use 1 audio output device and firefox to use another. Anyone know how to do this? If I combine the order of having my headset in and loading the programs in a certain order I can get it to work temporarily. But, if I refresh the page or go to a new on firefox it automatically switches to my headset as the audio output device.

Is there a way or an application to send audio to multiple output devices simultaneously? For instance, if you had headphones and wifi speakers and wanted to select and send audio to both at the same time?

SONAR Producer and Studio
Started 2 months, 3 weeks ago (2009-09-10 08:09:40)  by cajunator
I recently had to replace my stone age pc with Cakewalk 3.01 which I loved. It died :( Now I have this Gateway DX4200-09 with Realtec High Definition Audio device. It is not recognized as a valid MIDI output device by Sonar 8 Producer. However I can play midi thru WMP or Quicktime Player. How do I get SONAR to see Realtec High Definition Audio as a valid MIDI output device?   Thanks...

Greetings, A client has recently come to me with Win7 and asked if it's possible to output to multiple audio devices simultaneously. ie; They wish to have one program output through speakers and the other through a headset. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure it out and google hasn't been of any help. It was possible with Vista by simply starting one program, changing the audio...

You are using only your TV's built-in speakers on all of your tests? I would try other cables, such as using the optical output as suggested by jtwex. Or perhaps a different HDMI cable. Have you tested your TV's HDMI inputs using other devices, like a DVD or Blu-Ray player? If those work properly then you've proven your TV's HDMI connector is working properly, and that the HDMI cable ...
