My husband and I will be in Osaka for 4.5 days next week! (We won tickets). Can anyone advise the best type of transport pass to buy for getting around the city? I have found a Kansai thru pass, but don't think this includes the Osaka subway? There is also the Osaka unlimited 2 day pass... We plan to do 2 day trips to Kyoto and Nara during that time. Any advice...

We are planning to go to Osaka this coming December, we are traveling 7 of us..we'll depart from Singapore to Narita, arrive at Narita in the morning and from there we prefer to go straight to Osaka.. preferably taking train instead of airplane to Osaka, since we've checked the flight is only available around late afternoon to evening..and it's a bit pricey for us...thanks

I love Buckethead's solo on the album for Madagascar, and his live performances like at Rock in Rio 2001 were great as well, but I didn't really dig Fortus' performances of it in 2006. I happened to come across this Osaka Kaiyu Ticket which is supposed to include the entrance fee to the aquarium. Anyone used this pass before? As compared to Osaka Unlimited Pass, is is more recommended to get this since I will definitely visit the aquarium. =)

Has anyone ordered foreign kits before and if so where did you get them from? I'm also guessing that my wallet would be well and truly raped if I found a reliable source?

I think it's because of Tokushima prefecture, 2.5 hours by bus from Osaka and Kyoto.. In August in the summer, it's home to the largest dance festival in all of Japan, Awa Odori!..
