Hi, I'm a 28 year old male and planning to get braces to correct some spacing and crowding in my teeth. I would appreciate if anyone here could recommend me an excellent Orthodontist in San Diego. Price is not an issue. My Dentist has recommended me a few and I've done some research online as well. Currently, I'm looking at the following Orthodontists: 1. Dr Paul J Styrt [url=http...

Anyone know of a good (and affordable) orthodontist in the Plainview, Hicksville, Syosset, Bethpage area? Just found out my child needs a palate expander and I would like a second opinion on necessity of it and the cost (about 2000 dollars)

At the age of 30 I've finally decided to do something about my bad teeth. I live in the Dublin 12 area and would like to get a consultation from an orthodontist in the general area (or southwest Dublin) as its convenient for me. Could anyone here recommend a good orthodontist? And what are the general waiting times to get seen? Also i was hoping maybe to go for the lingual uppers and maybe ...

Doctor, I was done an osteotomy some years back and because of that I have a malocclusion now. When I approached an orthodontist in my city, I was told that he could not push my lower teeth slightly backwards as there is no space as teeth had been already extracted during the surgery. Now, I have a doubt. Can the wisdom teeth be extracted to provide such a space needed by the orthodontist?...

I am 28 years old, and going to start the braces treatment on in about 1 month. The Orthodontist told me to get 4 teeth (5,12,21,28) extracted since I have a slight extrusion. Will this change my face shape (with flatter face and less obvious check bone)? Thanks Answer Winnie - It may, but I cannot be sure without fully examining you. When you say that there is extrusion, what do you ...

10 yo DD had an orthodontist consultation last month. They said she will be ready for braces in about 6 months. Just trying to get myself a little more informed of what we are in for. Neither my husband nor I ever had braces. Are there different kinds? How much do they typically cost? Do the orthodontists finance it for you? How often do they need appointments? Thanks! Michelle

I have to agree with the above commments - We paid for the "sure smile" (what a scam) my son was to have his braces off 4-09. He still has them! Going on two years the Dr. has only looked at my son's teeth 3 times and that's becasue we have demanded to see the Dr. My dentist appolgizes to me everytime he see's us for recommending Lach's office - says he now discourages his patients to go ...

Hey, the easier to floss YaYa! LOL Both my boys had braces and they really needed them. There was no way I was going to have them go through jr. high and high school with their teeth the way they were. Their bite was off and my oldest could have eaten corn on the cob through a wire fence his teeth were so buck. But the orthodontist took payments and we managed. Their teeth are beautiful ...
