Under VMM 2008 R2 / Win 08 R2, I have an orphaned virtual machine adaptor from a failed creation of an internal network. Hyper-V has no record of the connection but Network Connections shows an unplugged Local Area Connection. I have tried to remove the adaptor with device manager but it does not work. Is there any other way to remove an orphaned adaptor? Thank ...

I'm looking for a command that doesn't exist. There is a record in production that has been orphaned and the parent must to be deleted. Short of dropping the constraint that prevents the deletion of an orphan, is there another method? Guess I am looking for a way to temporarily change the state of the constraint from CHECK to NOCHECK. What other possible means exist to remove the orphan?

I have read through all the relevant posts I can find and it appears to me that no one has solved this problrem in CS4. Is there a solution to this problem or am forced to find other software to find files that are actually orphaned? I have seen posts that state that the files that are repored erroneously as orphaned all have spaces inthe filename - this is incorrect. IK can find no pattern ...

Hello fellow Money Savers! One of my friends is painting - within the next week or so (the date has been put back due to bad weather) - the world's largest ever picture (as far as we know) of Rick Astley. He is raising money for the orphaned children in Rwanda, who sadly lost their parents as a result of the 1994 Genocide. The money will be used to build a training and educational centre ...

Sateesh, The date is 12/08/2008 when the transactions started showing up, which is two days after the restore of the distribution database. Yes, after I dropped the subscriptions, the orphaned rows disappeared. I did not add the subscription as it seems this replication publication is being discussed as being removed altogether. I'm also thinking that the publisher that has this only one ...

Yes, if the Publisher2 had a separate distribution database, it would not have failed when you have restored the Distribution database and Publisher1. --Sateesh

How large is the site you are working on? Would it be possible to post a link to a page that is reported as being orphaned? Would it be possible to zip the entire site and send that zip file to someone for examination?
Michael I still don't think this is the issue, usually the 64Bit related issues will stop you from doing anything, I would still upgrade to 9.0 or wait a week that 9.01 will be realized do the upgrade and try the web services module of OpenScript. Regards Alex

Glad he is doing well, sounds as though he has awakened the dogs' protective instincts How about some photo? We all love photos here, especially of kittens. And the dogs surrounding kitty would be cute, I imagine.
