the problem was the cow hacking scene there were truss things, held by a team of natives, at both ends to hold cow up, espec after being hacked, and they had to be fairly close to cow or the whole shootin match woulda got wobbly so orig 4:1 aspect was kinda silly, looking more like a rugby scrum than a cow hack but we must support them, cow after cow ....

John, I am playing around with the stretchy slideshow again. I notice on your website that the original aspect ratio of the pictures is preserved when they expand or contract to fit the space. I cannot work out how to fix the original aspect ratio without having the pictures stretch (ie lose their original aspect ratio). Appreciate any help - thanks

Not that I'm aware of, but if you go to IMDB.com and look up a particular show, they list the original aspect ratio on their pages.

Look around at the other HD channels. Is this happening on all the HD channels all the time? At any given time, an HD channel might be broadcasting a show where the Original Aspect Ratio is 4:3 and they are (amazingly but rightfully) broadcasting it un-modified.
