I did a drain and fill of the original automatic transmission fluid for my '08 Optima today. I had the car jacked up from just behind the passenger front wheel. I let it drain for about 10 minutes, and 4.25 quarts came out. The whole job was very easy. I can feel a smoother shift between gears now, so I think it was a good time to do it. The old fluid was not burned or blackened. Lee

First if this is allready somewhere else covered then sorry guys but at least I tried to help. I wanted to do this because I went true 3 days of googleing to find no information anywhere about the 34R optima red top with an RX8. Optima recomends 35 series but those fit without any modification but you would need and 35R verision. I went with an 34R just because its the same ...

anyone know the optima battery model number that might fit the pgt standing up, with the tray removed? i've heard they don't last as long if they are installed sideways.

Any opinions on a battery upgrade? I am considering using an Optima D34M deep cycle/start battery in my 2009 Passion. It has four posts which make for a easier and or better connection to my Alpine PDX5 amp

I have a new, never been loaded or fired, blue .45 cal barrel with ramrod and 209 breach plug. I ordered this barrel to swap in and out with my .50 cal. Never used it and sold my Optima to another member. Original cost was $89.76 + Uncle Sam. I would like to trade it for something I will use to someone who will use it. This might should have gone in another forum but I assumed the folks here...

Hi, Here is the deal. I purchased a optima red top battery for my g35. I sold the car but kept the battery. The battery is the sc34r which is the reverse pole model needed for infiniti's. I had the battery in my 4runner and it was dead after I got home from work after a month without use. I still have a warranty on the battery and can get a new one through the vendor I purchased ...

My battery will not hold a charge if it sits while i'm at school, if it sits longer then two weeks then the battery ends up dead and i need to get it jumped, and it will last while i drive it daily, but i need to have it be reliable while it's not running everyday. i'm thinking it's a dead cell or something, the battery was replaced two years ago and is i believe an interstate? My current mods...
