I can't wear lenses because I have sensitive eyes. I don't like to wear glasses. One OD said that I MUST wear glasses full time, the other said that I don't. The optician said that wearing or not wearing glasses have no effect on the eyesight, it can only cause headache and tire the eyes, but if I don't want to wear them and I feel fine it OK. I am -2.5 and -1.25 cyl. in the right and -2.25...

I first started wearing glasses at the age of 8 and I clearly remember experiencing the same effect. my eyesight declined quite rapidly so I was having my lenses changed every 6 months for a good few years and ALWAYS had the same thing happen whenever my lenses were made stronger. If I had to compare it to anything I'd say it feels like you are looking through the side ...

Also I think your prescription for your glasses is different than your contacts. At least mine is. My eye doctor gave me a prescription for glasses and the optician I went to (Costco) measured my ...

I guess I'm too much the pessimist--not only have I not even been warned for starting this topic, but the discussion has been fantastic with people on the various sides of the issue sharing their thoughts politely and intelligently. It's clear we all care about what's best for everyone, and I certainly understand the fears a business owner or even employee would have regarding how health care ...
