I don't want to bother using a card reader any more for online banking. I just find it annoying. I don't do my banking in just one place. I never even remember I need to use it. Sometimes I will be at work and need to make a payment yet I can't because I obviously haven't got the card reader on me. I went travelling for a year and had to bloody carry the thing around with me. So can I opt not ...

I have never opted out before but Hooters makes me sick enough to want to part ways with them and say, "It's been fun (not)." With the recent letter many of us got, and the hike I received which was not as bad as some others including my husband's, I am calling it a day with the Hooters card. I have until Dec. 14 to make my intentions known to them. BTW, I have never encountered any but ...

I live in Oklahoma, a red state. An Opt-out means that I will never see a public option. So nothing changes for me, so why should support any health care plan with an opt out. Opt out also means that major businesses are going to move where Opt out is. Yes those may be die hard republican companies, but they will move to where it's cheaper to operate. And a state with a public option will be ...

Congress has talked about an ''opt out'' for states as a way to get conservatives (republicans and blue dogs) on board. Shouldn't there be a way for individuals to ''opt out'' of for-profit, service denying, life-taking, family bankrupting private insurance? Poll result (34 votes) YES-- people should be able to opt out of private insurance (32 votes, 94%) Vote NO--people ...

I have a hatred of menopause. I don't see much point to it. If hypogonadism was merely about stopping procreation and just involved cessation of menstruation I wouldn't be revolted by it. The whole thing does nothing to improve life and although I know that it is celebrated as a rite of passage I just can't get my head around that idea. Surely there are better reasons to celebrate life. Our...

I am looking for a plugin that allows me to keep certain posts out of the RSS/atom feeds. In other words, I would like to select -- on a per-post basis -- whether or not that post should be in the feed.

My understanding is the state can choose not to allow for the Federal Public Option but we will still have to put into the system.... If this is correct who the hell will opt out? [crosspost to OE General] If you've accessed the account via OE and have not left messages on the server, the only way to get them back to your webmail inbox would be to Forward the messages to yourself. In doing so, you'd lose the original timestamps as well as the From information.

I was reading about opting out of LexisNexis. I have an incident report relating to ID theft signed by a police officer, dated about 5 years ago. He said to save it for the rest of my life, and keep copies (which I did). It was the best advice, because I ended up needing it a few years ago, anyway... Would that be sufficient to opt out of LexisNexis, or does it have to be a 'recent' report...
