XD As the above says, I've started doing commissions of late. As of now, OpenCanvas Drawings as below are 5 for 5 dollars. OpenCanvas Examples [link] [link] Older examples [link] [link] [link] [link] I'm willing to draw almost anything, I've even done some regression and gender-bending pics in the past as people can see in my gallery. Hope to hear back from anyone ...

I recently installed the last version of openCanvas onto my laptop, and started using it with an Intuos2 8"*6" tablet. I've got the tablet set so that the working area is constrained to the aspect ratio of my laptop's screen (which is 16:9). Now, the problem I'm having with openCanvas is that every time I load it up, the program forces me to use the entire area of the tablet instead of ...

Hope you like Stormy, it was kind of a last minute thing due to me trying to break my artist block with OpenCanvas colorings. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif ) It's too bad the old site's logs went down when you were away, a lot of your post BM characters always sounded neat. Always was curious how they'd play against some of mine. *still has a couple fanfics I owe you on ...

I just recently started coloring some of my work in OpenCanvas (I think it is version 4.5). Just wondering if anyone had any tips or knew about some good tutorials? I use layers and all but my coloring is still looking kinda flat. D:

I've been hearing a lot of great things about it, so I did a little research. Is it really a good program to use? How much does it cost? Can you find it in stores?

Everything works fine even my mouse, but my tablet won't. It works fine in gimp, photoshop, and in manga studio. When I try to write with it in open canvas nothing appears, but when I use my mouse it works. Can anyone help me? I'm using OC 4.5.18 plus and a bamboo.

Glyf Just got an update on my grandma; apparently she did break her right arm somewhere between her wrist and elbow, and they're not sure yet whether or not she might have also broken some ribs. But she seems to be in good spirits, despite all that. @crazii: Spiffy. ^u^ Oh, I am having fun, definitely. *nods* I use openCanvas 4.5.17 Plus. And a Wacom tablet, too. And sometimes a ...

I think Macs are better when you're using really heavy programs like Illustrator and Photoshop. It's true that it barely crashes (I used to experience kernel panics at some time... I just reinstalled the OS and then no more problems.), but if you have a PC with decent specs and is virus free, I don't think you'd have too much trouble with Photoshop crashing. What I don't like about Macs though...

Okami-Kiera Enough bumping already. > sad About your art, you look like another one of those people who hopped the anime-style bandwagon. I admit I did that too, but I had art skill beforehand. I sucked at it at first, but that was three years ago. Also, I don't reccomend MS paint. Try a freeware like GIMP or Opencanvas if you're serious about drawing. not really serious just ...

Pathos yeah, when i work in opencanvas doing lines is much easier because of the rotate function. usually i work in photoshop and it is a pain not being able to easily rotate the canvas as though it was a piece of paper under my hand. Yeah I know what you mean...I even tried to just rotate the tablet and that didn't turn out to well. sweatdrop

Hey all, I've browsed a couple discussions on this but I cannot for the life of me finding a working solution for my problem. Basically, when I try to draw using the pen (the actual pen, not the pen tool) in Photoshop CS4 with my Intuos4 (Small), pressure sensitivity doesn't work. Works just fine in othe programs, like openCanvas or Paint Tool SAI, but I was hoping to learn CS4 a bit ...

if this is old, then FIRST SAY IT. then post your progress since that time. no one would want to help you if you don't post things that are new. First things first: plan out your steps for the drawing, or ANY drawing really.... when you have a picture in your head and you try to draw it, first sketch it, it'll become easier in the long run. no, you don't have to be perfect with ...
