Who can recommend a good online bank? I have been using HSBC for well over 20 years now. I started to use thier online banking only a few years ago and have noticed that they are really slacking. Transactions are taking longer to post and due to that it makes it a ltitle difficult to keep current track of things. Is it all banks? Any thoughts? Who do you guys use and are you happy with them? After Quicken Online and Mint.com merge, will Mint support the financial institutions Quicken Online currently supports but Mint doesn't? For example, Quicken Online supports my local bank, but Mint doesn't. Quicken Online doesn't support my Merrill Lynch account, but Mint does. After the merge, with they both be supported?

Ok, so I have been a big user of PCF and is been great... I always had a CIBC account, but the monthly charge for a account that I rarely use is just enough... so I cancel the account this week. Any issue with using strictly online banks? I have both PCF and INGdirect....

If it's a savings account, does it really matter much other than finding a major name that you can transfer money to? The savings rate sucks on pretty much all of them anyway. I've had a savings account with ING Direct for several years and a checking account with Wells Fargo since the early or mid 90's, I think.
