This must be the best kept secret of all but Olympic Air has 4 flights a week leaving Athens 08.30 on Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday and departing from Gatwick on the same days at 11.15 or 11.30. Hopefully this will help the millions who live in South East England to get easier connections to Athens and the islands.

Sure Forsberg's legendary shootout goal against Canada in 1994 (still the only shootout in the final) was a great Olympic moment, but even people who like this gimmick during regular season know that it's no way to decide the most prestigious international hockey tournament, right? Between the top countries the marginals are so small and with only a 10 minute overtime, there's a good ...

Note: all ? marks should be replaced with " or " ~Most people say that they perform the Olympic lifts because they are ?explosive?. The truth of the matter is that any lift can be ?explosive?! By incorporating the dynamic-effort method with sub-maximal weights into your program, you can turn any lift into an ?explosive? lift. For example, if a man who can box squat 500 lbs. were to train ...

I had to sign up for a new gym, but it doesnt have olympic standard barbells. Instead it uses thinner, 10kg barbells. Same length but half of the thickness.. similar thickness to a banana (no homo). I'm concerned its going to affect my lifts.. since when im benching/squatting etc there will be a smaller area im in contact with, so the barbell will dig in more. Also maybe it could affect my ...

I have recently started learning how to do the Olympic Lifts Clean&Jerk and Power snatch (currently doing that instead of normal snatch) and I was wondering how often I should do them. Currently my routine is this: Day 1: Chest/biceps (embarrassing to have such a beach muscle day, I know) Day 2: Legs/lower back Day 3: Off due to other commitments but otherwise I'd train....

Quote: Nissan has criticised the London 2012 Olympic organising committee for its decision not to include a significant proportion of electric vehicles on the fleet for the games. BMW was revealed yesterday as the firm to supply more than 4000 vehicles to the games, but only a small proportion are likely to be electric. The London Organising Committee ...

It was the first 1/10 second resolution mechanical timer for Olympics with 36,000 bph balance wheel rate. Some few hundreds were made for games used even after Omega photo electric timers improved resolution to 1/100 and 1/...

1980 Olympic Ice dancing competition I have heard alot of the 1980 Olympic Ice dancing competition, but while I have seen old clips of the top teams around then skate (including even a young T&D) I did not see any of the performances from the 1980 Olympics themselves. I'm interested in getting a MIM Fender Precision bass in the Olympic White / rosewood freboard combination. I've got a Fender Frank Bello bass I'd be willing to trade for one (with some cash thrown in to make it even). I'm looking for something in fairly new condition.
