SO what happened today, car dies at idle and doesn't start right away, starts only after like 5-7 minutes of standing. While I'm driving it, it's fine, no problems, i come to a red light, dies in 10 seconds of standing. The OBC sometimes tells me "oil pressure sensor". My guess is there is not enough oil pressure at idle and the ecu shuts down the car, so oil pump has to go. Any other ideas? Can ...

The hpop and IPR went out on my '04 F250. Ford has the truck right now and quoted me $2,800 for parts and labor. A local mechanic I know can get the parts for half the price of Ford and says they can do the repair. My question is this: where are the hpop and IPR located and how hard of a job is it? I Change my oil pump gear on my B engine (3B is similar) As the toyota book tell me, I'm over and the cover and gear are worn. Do I need to change the Timing cover or just the gear ? is the oil pump chain tensioned by oil pressure ? im getting a rattle sound on cold start up for about 1-2 min then sound is gone could it be oil pump chain?

de-cat/uprated oil pump im lookin for a de-cat down pipe from the turbo for my00 classic turbo 2000 uk impreza and also an uprated oil pump as i dont fancy droppin a new engine in again lol both in good nick and as cheap as pos.

On the 2000 800 RMK...does it matter which ports on the oil pump go to what? Like, do the crank bearings have thier own ports and the carbs have thier own or are they all the same output and such? I'm gonna plumb the pump back in with new line and just wanna know so in case thier is a difference.
