hi, maybe someone here knows this. i was looking up the ohlins shock and found two models. the 46HRCL costs about $30-$50 more. the sites dont say the difference. thanks.

I'm looking at the possibility of a set of Ohlins DFV and have a few questions that might stop me: 1) What is the ride height adjustment range? I would like to keep a stock ride height since I scrap enough as it is. 2) Does installation require any modification to the car? I'd rather not have to cut/trim anything on the car. 3) Does anyone with Ohlins DFV at near stock ride height still ...

Turned out flawlessly as expected. Mainly this thread is just a shout out to Ken at Superbike Italia for hooking me up with his expertise (and tools) with Ohlins stuff. These forks use special tools to remove the cap and damper rod and I didn't have them, but I knew a suspension guru like Ken would. I am getting a new set of ohlins forks (currently stuck a showa front end in there so I could ride) and I need the triples and clipons so that I can make a proper conversion back to ohlins. Am I missing anything? That's all I can think of. All right...sorry guys! 2002 Mille R.

They have got to be joking aint they £15999 for a bike thats still in the 60s,960cc engine and a massive 78bhp why are they bothering? hated them in the 70s and looking at the pics in this weeks MCN nothing much has changed apart from the ohlins of course,but come on it aint worth £15999 of anybodys money,think of the bikes you could buy for that kind of money I bet they still leak ...

A look see revealed that my rear shock is leaking a tad, so time to replace. An OE version is £500.00......so that isn't going to happen, and I think Mott got the last Ohlins! So perhaps a Hagon with new fork springs as well, also toying with a top yoke conversion, what say the board?
