Hey all, I just wanted to know what you thought was the best office software for a macbook air or just a mac in general. I've been used to the whole Mac Office, but was wondering if Open Office is any good or any of the freeware office suites were good? I'm really not too keen on buying another office suite, but if one runs better than another, than sure why not. Post your opinions ...

I was reading a somewhat related post, but what I am looking for is an optical program that is strictly optical that would hopefully integrate with our medical software (Centricity), which doesn't work well for inventory or retail sales. We have two locations that would need to access the optical information- I want it mainly to generate sales reports and stats, and to keep track of ...

Anyone familiar with this software? I've been using Microsquashes Office software for a few years now and I just heard about Sun Microsystem's alternative, which happens to be no strings free. I'm still evaluating it, trying to get it set up and customized. It's open source and so far, I'm impressed. Anyone else have any experience with this ...

I've been using Open Office since it first came out & before that its predecessor Star Office & I like them both but a mate at work sent me the link for this & I have to say I've been pretty impressed so far. It just feels more like a professional product. The only (slight) downside so far is it's about twice the size of Open Office. Still a lot smaller than Microsoft Office though. ...

I have iWork, Office 08 and NeoOffice. All 3 are great office programs. If you have to send and receive Office Docs, then get the MS Office 08. I think it is like $150 or so for the student and teacher edition or whatever it is called. NeoOffice is actually really nice. You could download it and see if you like it. It is FREE and seems the developer works hard at keeping it ...

Google Docs works well. And it makes sharing files really easy with people in a group. If you don't need all the bells and whistles that the other programs have, it'll work fine. Everything's Office compatible and set up almost exactly like Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. I'd use it to complement iWork or Office, but you could use it alone.

You can save up to $3,687.37 by simply doing NOTHING . Sounds complicated? Yeah but it will work, here is my theory. If you can’t be bothered with maths (or not a student), then don’t read on. However if you really want to know how to save more than $3k within 3 years, read on. Alright kids, you all know that you can borrow up to $1000 of “course related cost” right? Also you guys ...
