Hi All: Any help would be appreciated. The posts on this topic are old and mostly apply to windows xp. I am running windows vista and can't install Office 2003. It conitnually stops on loading sku011.cab and asks you to browse to the original install location. I have pointed it right to the file on the installation cd; saved a new version of sku011 in another location and pointed it to that...

This happened to me a while back and the cause was a recent MS Office (specific to junk mail) auto update. Once I removed it from my system, the filter began working again. Well it has happened again this week, and I am hesitant to remove the last two updates from 12/3/09: Hotfix for Windows XP (KB976098v2) and Update for Windows XP (KB973687), because neither mentions Outlook or ...

I uninstalled office 2003 student version with idea that I could reinstall and correct issues it was having. I tried to reinstall and installation exits while installing. Not an error code, just sorry it can't be installed. The install takes the license key and validates fine.

Going to the Review tab, Proofing area shows Research button highlighted (never selected by me); my keyboard (Microsoft!) then locks up and behaves strangely and I can't seem to do anything. I can't find a way to remove or switch of this unwanted intrusion except ...

I am using Office 2003 Small Business Edition running on Windows XP SP3. Somehow whenever I click to open Excel, Powerpoint file it will take me more than 1 min. But if I open the Excel, Powerpoint program first, then go to File, Open select the file there is no problem. Files open up very fast. Why direct double click open the file will be so slow? 1 person needs an answer I do too

I have recently moved my copy of Office 2003 on a new Windows 7 PC and since installing it every time I start one of the applications I am asks to accept the user licence. Does anyone know a way to stop this happening? I have activated the product correctly as far as I can tell. 1 person needs an answer I do too
