Hi, can anyone help on this, the odometer is not displaying, when I first start the car there are some random elements of the display the that light up for a few seconds. it has never worked since I have had the vehicle, can it be disconnected, if so where do I look?, is there a fuse which works this? All other elements work, such as speedo and taco. Many thanks

I have an 88 K75s with about 100K. On my way to TN this summer, I noticed the odometer was reading about 18% low and finally quit. The pedometer still works accurately. Any ideas? I understand the gears can become stripped out. Is this a big job to fix? Expensive (parts)? Thanks, Lou

So my gauge cluster, odometer, speedo stopped working. I plan on checking the matter out asap and plan on fixing the issue. However, my concern is that this is a lease vehicle. Is this going to cause a problem when I turn it in. Like, will the dealership be able to tell my engine and trans mileage differ. I'm new to the jeep thing. This is for an 06 wrangler sport.

as title says. one day the odometer started flashing and stopped recording miles. but the trip still works, recording miles. i asked my mechanic, and he said its the dash unit and i need to replace it, but then whatever new dash unit i put in, im stuck with the miles from it, not from my car... any ideas if i can fix it? possibly a solder point that came loose or something?

93 Gmc Sonoma 2.8 5 speed. the speedo still works but the odometer stopped working. I noticed it this afternoon coming home from work. I stopped this morning to fill up. Reset the trip and didnt notice till I got home that it still read zero. None of the numbers are moving. but the speedo still works. checked all the fuses I could find. sound like a stripped gear???????

1998 ford windstar speedometer and odometer stop working i need to know what to look for fuses and loose wires somebody please help!!!!! everything else works gas gauge works fine and temperature gauge works fine.......just need a start point of what i should be lookin for.

my odometer/tripometer screen went out(07 f150 fx4)...on my way from work today I dimmed my cluster and as my screen dimmed it jus turned off and stayed off....could that bulb be the cause??? this should still be covered under warranty right???? Register today or sign-in to remove these ads!

Had to replace battery today. I thought those Optimas were the best thing since cheese in a can? $200 later I got battery in now no gages, odo, good time radio and inside lights. I checked all the fuses and nothing obvious there. Looked at the maxi-fuses but I can't read geek! Any ideas? _________________ "Hey stupid, you gotta drive this home!"
