I am looking to buy a 2003 Limited on line and I noticed what appeared to be a trim piece missing at the bottom of the odometer. This car is low milage and otherwise looks to be in good condition.Could this be a signof odometer switching or something more inocent? Is that piece available for replacement?@^k mi. on a 2003 Limited for 9300.Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I didn't think I'd be posting a "how to" question so soon. Anyway I fixed my broken odometer thanks to all the good info. on this forum, and now my headlights, guages, clock and idiot lights don't work. The turn signals blink outside but not inside. The hazard lights work, inside and outside, and the emergency brake light comes on. Did I screw up the foil? Anybody know ...

This is an intermitant problem, but I am not sure what drives the Odometer. Is it the speedo cable or is it something else? I replaced my gauge cluster with a cluster that has a tach. Followed the DIY write up and used my factory speed/odometer section so the mileage was correct still. I put it back in and everything works but sometimes the Odometer/Trip won't work and sometimes it will. I ...

I'm sure someone has done this before... I'm trying to animate this odometer. For each time the ring on the far right turns 360 degrees, the one to the left needs to rotate 36 degrees, and so on. Any Ideas on the best way to do this? Thanks.

Hey all, I bought a 2000 Focus from out of state a while ago and in Florida we have to do a VIN verification before we can title it. They check the VIN number and the odometer reading and sign it off so you can get a title. Well being the dumbazz that I am I never went down to do the verification before I did my swap. What I need to know is what would be the easiest way to light up the ...

I went for a run today carrying my Garmin Summit GPS. For about 20% of the route the GPS was unable to track enough satellites to get a fix, however the overall distance on the odometer seemed to be correct. Does the GPS odometer take a 'best guess' if it looses lock?

CCM zeros Odometer  - 1 new post Read thread in new window

I had to get my CCM replaced. The sunroof drains stopped up, flooded my drivers side. I pick the 2003 GLX 5 speed up, both the trip odometer and main odometer read 0 miles. So... how to reset the main odo to the correct mileage? I know what the # should be, but is that a dealer option, or should a well regarded (NOT cheap) independent shop that replaced the CCM be able to set the odo?...

I had a spare cluster and robbed the gear from it two years ago, and it stopped working again. Anybody have one for sale? Or a cluster for sale? Or does anybody know where to get the gear(s) other than SCP? $64.99 is ludacris for two little gears. Or are these the same as in another Ford product? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Last job(pipe line) had several 6.4s. Rolling up 3,000 hrs in 20,000 to 25,000 miles, or an average sped of 8.2 mph. My own '06 had 100k miles at 3,000 hrs. That is 750hrs for 5,000 mile service. Or 1500hrs for 10k service. Most heavy equipment is 500 hour service and our new International trucks are 600hr service or 15k miles. The macks are 25k oil changes.
