I have considered myself an Ally for quite some time now however I heard something from a lesbian co-worker of mine that even I had never considered as an obstacle that LGBT people could face (in addition to lack of equal rights, hate crimes, etc...) My co-worker did not go to the restroom until after we had closed (she held it for several hours) because whenever she goes into the restroom ...

I've encountered an obstacle with my target who we'll refer to as J. This is a bit of a lengthy story so I apologize in advance! I've been friends with and have known J throughout uni. Although there was no interest on my end at first, there was always an underlying tension in our friendship particularly on his end. Throughout the years, this attraction grew, and was never acted upon, ...

I was surfing around and came across this mini-article and found it a very interesting idea ... a problem I have had in the past but never considered this solution .... Basically, it is using Panarama software (in the case of this article, Windows Live Photo Gallery) to take a shot of a scene when you have obstacles in the way you want to get rid of. blogs.msdn.com/pix/...

All throughout his life, man searches for something to aspire to - a goal in his existence. We stay fixated at whatever target we currently have, and stay steadfast as we make great efforts and sacrifices to accomplish what we're after. The satisfaction of conquering yet another obstacle is truly what drives people to excel; become the very best, so to speak. That is the nature of things, ...

Hey, I'm under a major time line to get this game done, but I'm stuck on something completely lame, but neccessary. I'm looking for: Code: if (this.hitTest(_root.Obstacles)) { gameover(); } this is supposed to say that when the clip in question (the player) hits the obstacle, the game is over. But nothing registers. The obstacle is answering to all the other code in its class...

They can be the main obstacle that keeps you from calling decision makers to make sure they got your resume. Want to get around those gatekeepers and make contact with people who can hire you? Try this telephone script, based on the work of sales professional Chet Holmes ( www....

My partner and I are about 3 1/2 months into our reconciliation efforts after his EA/PA. Overall things are going well and the relationship is the strongest it's been, but I feel like every few weeks we hit a difficult obstacle. Right now the obstacle is our physical relationship. My partner has been on a different time line for processing how the physical part of his A affects our ...

Ever voluntarily done something stupid? Next weekend in GA there is a HUGE 8 Hour team endurance race. The guys building the course are racers themselves and have laid out a great course. Overall its a 13 mile woods loop. All along we have known there would be an obstacle course. Today they posted a few pics "Planks of death"...

Anyone going to the auto show? I'm thinking I want to check out the Camp Jeep drive thingy where you drive a new jeep through the obstacle course. Does anyone know anything else I should see while I'm there?

WASHINGTON, D.C., December 19, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The final clear obstacle for President Obama's health care overhaul suddenly toppled Saturday morning as news broke that Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) had agreed on a series of compromises on abortion and other issues that would allow him to support the bill. http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2009/dec/09121902. html

The way abortions are covered under health care reform is a major obstacle to finalizing the legislation, even though the House and Senate both agree that no federal money should be used. The stumbling block is whether insurance plans that get federal money are completely barred from covering abortions, or whether they can cover it as long as they require customers to write separate checks...
