Hi, Have anyone successfully gotten OSX 10.5/6 to run (and run good) in Hyper-v (Windows 2008 server) I have a couple of linux servers running on hyper-v, and one or two freebsd, and they work like a charm, but would like to play around with osx server also. Any idears how to go about it ? //Leon

Can anyone help me? I just upgraded my iDeneb 10.5.6 to 10.5.8, and it worked fine enough for me. But the problem is, my usb flash disk could not be detected anymore, but USB printer run well. I have tried to install the any .kext needed, still remain the same. On my previous version 10.5.6, the flash disk still could be detected, by plugging it in before starting up the computer. ...

Recently upgraded my imac G5 from Tiger to Leopard 10.5.8. I had no problems with my Airport connection to my Airport Extreme with Tiger. Now I do. Major problems. Have done many of the online suggestions to fix it but to no avail. My Macbook Pro 2.4 Ghz (bought 1 year ago February) has occasional dropouts, but nothing close to the total connection failure I have with the imac.

Sorry for the late reply. Maybe this is just me being very new to Mac but what I ended up doing was making the decision to just reinstall mac OSX from the disc. I was prepared to lose everything in the process but after the installation somehow I managed to retain everything. Is this normal for a Mac when installing from the boot disc? Turns out Chameleon now works wonders with booting windows. Install Windows to your primary hard drive, then switch the primary to mac and install chameleon RC3 or 4. It should then let you boot to any of the hard drives. see the guide I uploaded for a bit more info

panic over! after having a tinker about with it i found that pulling the bios battery got it working again. i did have to reinstall iatkos leopard though. but atleast there was a happy inexpensive ending! i turned off all forms of sleep and hibernate mode as i read somewhere that the sleepimage that osx writes to the hard drive can be problematic with 4gb of ram. automatic sleep can ...
