Hi all, I'm trying to do an erase/reinstall of OS X Tiger on my Powerbook G4. When I put the disc in, nothing opens automatically, I have to select the install app manually. I'll get to the "press here to restart the computer and continue with the install" screen, and when I restart I get no further action. The mac restarts fine, but nothing else on the reinstall. Hi Ali, re: this open firmware issue, how do you get around it? I really did not understand the support page you link to...but wonder if it is causing me trouble; i.e. shift and other keys do not work. How do I access these keys then?
