Prolific forum contributor Cynthia Zender has teamed up with Lauren Hayworth and Michelle Burlew to write a new book on ODS. It's titled Output Delivery System -- The Basics and Beyond , and is available from SAS Publishing. Order it online at: http://www.sas.com/apps/pubscat/bookdetails.jsp?pc =61686 We in ODS R&D have just gotten copies. I do love that new book ...

I'm doing a simple PROC LIFETEST. If I don't do ODS GRAPHICS ON; then I get the K-M survival plot in the regular SAS Graph window. But since it looks better in the graphics window, I tried doing ODS GRAPHICS ON; first. But when I do that and then submit the code, I don't get a survival curve in any window. I don't get an error in the Log window. The Log window looks ...

I really like the SAS ODS Graphics under EGuide, but this 'feature' was a challenge. I'm running EG 4.2 with SAS 9.2 TS2M0 locally. I'm passing on the solution (since Tech Support didn't seem to consider it a 'bug,' I'm not sure that it will get directly to the Knowledge Base). Using the Regression Task in EGuide and selecting the "Scatter Plot with Regression Line" custom ...

I have a question about the Navy's HSCP program; From what I understand, while in school you are enlisted and paid at the E6 level. Then, when you graduate, you are commissioned to an O3. Now since you can't go to ODS until you are a comissioned officer when do you go? And if it is after you graduate, how does that affect starting residency? I would think that with ODS being 5 weeks you are going...

Ok, my understanding of the final rules on the opt-in requirement for charging a consumer a fee for paying overdrafts on ATM and one-time debit card transactions is that a consumer customer must agree (with and opt-in notice) to being charged the fee or the bank can not charge them at all. Can the bank prohibit the transaction from ever actually clearing the account and charge the customer an ...

These shoes are about 2.5 months old, they are the only closed toed shoes my 5 YO will wear. He mostly only wears them to school, but sometimes will wear them out at night if it is particularly cold. He has half a dozen other pairs of good quality flips flops and sandals that he wears the rest of the time. The shoes still fit him perfectly and he has to wear closed toed shoes to school. ...

So, we all know that the Bad Monkey gets quite alot of praise around here for creating a nice tube OD, whilst keeping the lows, & also as a clean boost. But, I'm wondering, how do the other Digitech pedals from the same series fair on bass? In Gain Order: Screaming Blues Hot Head Grunge Death Metal Now, from clips the Grunge & Death Metal sound quite fuzzy to me, so they've got ...
