I am trying to get the euro currency sumbol € into a numeric control (formatting code '€ %0.2f'). I cannot get this to work, it is replaced by some ASCII graphic....    The symbol seems to work in a string.  But using it in a formatting/constant string gives very strange responses. e.g. :  (1) make a string indicator with correct symbol and copy it as constant, now the ASCII graphic...

I can open yours as well, this works perfect.   Probably something wrong with my euro sign (ALT-0128) and something good with yours.   I see some differences in hex code and I will check the difference.   Thanx for the quick response!

Is there any one who can assist me with ideas. the problem is that i have to manually operate the control valve  I use a numeric control (pointer slide to regulate 4..20 mA) to a controll valve I want to build a VI that does this automaticaly for me, rather than me increasing the value from 4..20 mA with a numeric controll

I have a numeric control thats say set to default value is 10. I want to allow the operator access to change this default value (thus establishing a new default) as needed w/o requireing them to reset the value evertime they start/stop the software.

This question has nothing to do with DAQ and has come up many times on the LabVIEW board.   You can write the value to an ini file (as an example) and when the program starts, read the file and set the value with a property node or local variable.

Hello,   I'm working with my professor on an optics experiment and we are trying to control a fast steering mirror with LabVIEW.  We bought the mirror and power supply from piezosystemjena.  They provided a LabVIEW code that works.     The problem is that right now, the code can only be controlled manually.  We wish to have LabVIEW control it based on inputs received from other ...

Just testing PSE8 trial on my iMac/OS10.5. I switched the look of surface from dark to bright, but the background of numeric control fileds  e.g. for width of tool tips kept beeing too dark, while the fonts switched to black also. So there is no contrast at all - makes it hard to see the values. Look attached photo.   Is there any control button I didn't push to change this odd behavior? ...
