Nuendo - Topic profile

I recently got a Nuendo made RME Digi 9652 sound card to use for playback and recording with Sonar and am not able to get it to output any signal. hi guys, i dont hear much mention of Nuendo on these boards. A few users claim that many protools users are switching to Nuendo. Is it worth the investment of over $1600, or could one get by with protools M powered ( i have a firewire 410) what do ya think?

Hi all, Does anybody know how i can seperate EQ-s in EZdrummer (DFH) ? I use Nuendo 3 for recording, in EZdrummer i use the mixer to set levels, only is there a way to seperate the things so i can EQ kicks, snare and stuff seperate? Can someone plz tell me how to do this? Thanks

Hey guys I have a problem in Nuendo, I'm messing around with a few MIDI files and want to add different VST plugins to each of them. I know how to use VST's fairly well and all that but I've never had this problem before. Well I've never tried anything like this before to be honest. I've been using Nuendo 3 for months now. I however cannot figure out how to set up the vst instruments to be used through my MIDI device (aka USB uno cord to KORG-micro). Can anyone explain how I can set this up?

I was just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with this combination? When I install the plugin Nuendo finds the bridge but not the plugin. Also when I go to plug in details in Nuendo it shows the melodyne plug in as brown and all others are white and pink. I have even tried manually putting the dll file in the vst folder. I have WINDOWS XP PRO and Service pack 2. Any Suggestions? josh

im leaning towards nuendo after reading about some of the features. What caught me is that how Nuendo supports so much hardware vs protools which requires its own stuff. I got it to work, so here's the deal in case anyone else has trouble setting Foobar v0.8.3 up with a new sound card. In Foobar under Preferences > Playback > Output > Asio (dll version) you have to select your card in the "Output" selection, AND change the "Shift Output channels" selection to correspond with the output channel on your particular card.
