My magic chef oven (model 6898xrb) was not heating well (would have to turn it up to 550 to bake cupcakes and they still took 45 minutes) We replaced the temperature sensor and now we are getting an F3 code. Any help woulf be appreciated.

I have Magic Chef Model 68HK-6TXW its about 18 yrs. The oven heats to set temperature, the fan does NOT run. Although sometimes, I hear a click and the fan will kick in and go back off. Sometimes the click toggles back and forth as if something is preventing the fan to stay on while baking. The oven never shuts off during the baking cycle and it seems to bake fine. The element gets red hot and ...

I just have one oven and it is directly below it. I didn't see flames, but felt heat when I slid my hand in (slowly and carefully...). The rack wasn't on the highest peg, so I'll have to try again later. It's no rush. I didn't actually need to char a pepper. The jalepeno was on its last leg, so I thought I'd use it for a test run.

I have looked through the site to try something to get our oven to unlock after a self clean. I have ran it for 15 minutes, let it cool, and tried it with no luck. I have also turned off the breaker for over 10 hours, turned it on, turned on the self clean for one minute, interrupted the cleaning, and tried and it still would not open. Any ideas on what I should do here? Please help! Thanks...

My stove has two problems possibly related. The ignitor does not light the stove top burners. I have to use a match to light the stove. But it works fine once lit. But, at high it surges a bit. I ordered a new ignitor part number AP4092701 . Do you have install instructions? What do I do about the surging? Thanks Pierre
