Our PC had Norton Anti Virus built in, but it only lasts for two months. Then you have to start paying. We`ve put Avast on so we don`t want it anymore. But the PC keeps coming up with annoying reminders, which are even more frustrating because they don`t give you the option to say b****r off I don`t want it anymore , you have to click "Update Now" or, ominously, "Remind me later", neither...

How can I uninstall the trial version of norton, and how can i get internet explorer to work again. I've tried to go to control panel and uninstall norton that way, but all that appears is a window that says "preparing to uninstall" it has been saying that for about 30 minutes now with no progress. 1 person needs an answer I do too

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had a solution or thought on this challenge: When I go to restore a system restore time, I get an error message stating that it can't restore because of an Anti-Virus program. Does that mean I have to disable the Anti-Virus program before I attempt to restore the system? And, do I need to disable the Anti-Virus program when I create a new restore...

After paying online for 'Norton' (One year €54.99) what do you have to do to update your PC Anti Virus to make it work? > A friend of mine paid his annual sub two weeks ago , but his PC still hasn't updated the Anti Virus, (Warning, Not protected)! maybe there are other steps he should take to actually update Norton on his the PC, or should it update itself?

What does Norton Anti-Virus do? It seems to be working. I get alarmist pop-ups on occassion when it seems to be stopping something. And apparently there was no kiddie porn on my computer because I got caught with my pants down and had to bring the hard drive to the techs for repair. That's why "prison-mouth" don't survive too well on the Outside.
