I tried normalizing my project (-3db) throughout and do not care for the results. Made quiet parts of my songs loud and vice versa...not good. Is there a simple way to undo or remove this affect? mac mini 1.66 ...

Normalizing MP3's Boh Grid massive, I'm sick of having my levels all over the place each time I load a new MP3 into SSL and always having to adjust the gain knobs. Does anyone have any suggestions on programs to normalize multiple MP3's without compromising sound quality? Thanks a whole lot, biggups yourselves!!

Normalizing the Crime of the Century John Pilger Some excerpts I thought I would highlight. "During 17 years of assault on a defenseless civilian population, veiled with weasel monikers like "sanctions" and "no-fly zones" and "building democracy," more people have died in Iraq than during the peak years of the slave trade." "On 27 November, Scott Ritter, the former UN chief weapons ...

Hi, I have Fedora 12 (GNOME) installed. When I try to burn an audio playlist from within Ryhthmbox, the playlist gets handed over to the Brasero burning app. Brasero starts the normalizing process, e. g. it tries to adjust the audio levels, which is a fine thing, since my playlist comes from different sources with different volumes. Only the process hangs here. I've googled a bit, and many ...

I dont know a whole lot about how it's supposed to be used, other than that if you want to make sure that all tracks on a CD are at similar volume levels, it's a useful tool. At what point in the mixing process should it be used? Is it the initial bounce with multiple tracks, or after I've loaded the bounced audio file into logic for final tweaks with EQ and a bit of compression?...

I think the fear of normalizing is overblown. Normalizing isn't going to hurt your sound quality, it's just going to raise the level. And while it may be better to use compression or limiting, that doesn't make normalizing a bad thing. If you normalize a file after you have bounced it to a lower bitrate, you are bringing up the level but you have already lost the data on the low ...

My second post. Hello everyone. I am anxious to get things rolling. I have looked around for days trying to educate myself about knife creation. I'm so new, I didn't realize until recently I should consider heat treating, annealing, normalizing, and tempering. So I am sure I'd like a forge. I want to build my own to save money, but I also just like making things myself. I have seen ...

Hi i've alway forged out knives and normalizing is just part of the process but lately i've bought some o1 flatstock and did some stock reduction..... the process is fast.. but what has me thinking is do i need to normalize the starrett tool steel like i do with a forged blade... or is the grain structure fine to begin with... really... it doesn't say to normalize it on the heat ...

I have a video project with 48 KHz audio from the camera, and also a separate audio recording at 48 KHz, with too-low levels. I want to try normalizing its levels to see if it sounds better than the camera audio. It may avoid some echo, because of better microphone placement. Garageband will normalize levels (in fact does it on output by default) but renders the waveform to 41 KHz ...

To day, the world has a population of around 7 billions and a number of 2 billions is regarded as “optimal”. In fact, the Earth really is heavily overpopulated, but the proper way for normalizing the conditions can never be a possible covered-up biochemical genocide, but that (as already intended in China) each and every family cannot have more than one child (and that without exceptions like “...

Was going to ask about normalization but thought I'd search first. When is normalization supposed to be done exactly then? I mean, if it gives you the option when bouncing it, why wouldnt it occur after compression and other effects? Mid 2008 Macbook Pro 2.4G ...

Sue: Yep, its below zero here right now, so don't forget your woolly jumper and fur hat if you come visit us. I may have told you this before (I've mentioned it to somebody from New Zealand in the past, I'm sure) but people sometimes think I must be a New Zealander. My initials are KWS, and when I was at school somebody inserted two Is into them on my bag so it read KIWIS. As a ...

Parker - one more thing in case you are reading again... Have you experienced any heart palpitations (kind of like a racing hearbeat / anxiety attack) while your hormones have been normalizing themselves?? Just curious...
