In that same post he says.. "This is a very powerful tool which will help law enforcement to avoid some of the legal problems they've had with other nonlethal technologies," Mr. Battis said. Still, he acknowledged that there were likely to be legal challenges to their use. So yes the man made an optimistic statement but also did not side step the legal issue.

I love the way d20 Modern uses Massive Damage. But I'm confused when it comes to nonlethal damage. I know that when you receive damage equal to your massive damage threshold you must make a DC 15 Fortitude save or fall to -1 hp. Does it matter if the damage is nonlethal? If I have improved knockout punch and deal 25 nonlethal damage to you while you only have a constitution score of 19, must...

Tasers can do some amazing things. I've seen videos where a single shot takes down a martial arts instructor who states afterwords that the weapon was more incapacitating than shrapnel from a grenade. For self defense, they seem like they might be a pretty darn good option. Pros NEARLY nonlethal. Taser claims 800,000 people have been zapped, and even the most vocal detractors of ...

So, for the nonlethal damage thing, all you have to do to drop someone with rageclaws is deal some nonlethal damage? -2/7 character w/ rageclaws is OK with a dagger to the chest, but not a punch to the arm? Any nonlethal damage drops a character w/ 0 or less hp regardless of Rageclaws or not? Also, though I assume it does, nonlethal damage forces a concentration check, right?

So your saying the Na'vi should have negotiated with the humans and used "non-lethal" methods when the humans were there to steal their land, blow their homes and sacred sites, and kill them off? Lets get real. If somebody breaks into my house with an AK-47 I'm not going to fight them off with "non-lethal" methods.
