Adapting Judo to Nogi So, I was thinking that Judo throws are both flashy and effective for taking people down and into positions of dominance rather quickly. My biggest thing is though that most if not all Judo throws are designed for the gi (and understandably so, most people don't walk around and pick fights with people naked)....

Just a heads up, that the guys behind the British NOGI championships will be running a similar tournament in St Andrews College Booterstown on Saturday 13th March 2010.
